Grainger Hines (Peter McDaniel)

Grainger made his New York stage debut in "Valentine Day," written and directed by one of America's great writers, Horton Foote, also "Mannerhouse," directed by Herbert Berghof. Other productions in New York includes "Fool For Love," "One Last Ride" and "Dance With Me."

On the stage in Los Angeles, Grainger starred with Lynn Redgrave in the Los Angeles Drama Critics winner, "Thursday's Girls."  He also starred in "A Rainbow In The Night" and the world premier of "One Last Ride" at the Melrose Theatre. At the Lee Strasberg Institute, Grainger starred in "Fool for Love."

Some of Grainger's film work includes, Thicker Than Water (2005) (TV), The Exonerated (2005) (TV), Just for the Time Being (2000), Protocol (1984), Innerspace (1987), Rocky II (1979), Sally (2000), Strong Island Boys (1997), When (1999), Abuse Of Power, Two Of Hearts, Amber Waves (1980) (TV), The Secretary (1995) (TV), Discretion Assured (1993), The Three Deaths Of Joaquim Bolivar, Yellow Bird (2001), Soldier's Fortune (1991), Street Knight (1993). The ABC award-winning mini-series, War and Remembrance (1988) and also The Alamo: Thirteen Days to Glory (1987) (TV).

Grainger wrote, produced and starred in the western drama, The Outsider (1994/I). In 2006, Grainger directed the feature film The Mill (2006) and also recurred on the hit CBS series, "CSI: Miami" (2002) as Chief James Burton.

Grainger has two sons, Gray and Austin Hines. Gray is a musician and lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Austin lives in Los Angeles and is starting his acting career. Austin's mother is actress Michelle Phillips.
